We would like to take the opportunity to thank those who exhibited on the NSW Department of State and Regional Development (DSRD) stand at the Security 08 Conference and Exhibition. The event organisers have reported close to a 19% increase in visitor numbers on last year, with around 1700 people attending on the opening day. The event was well attended by high-level players in the security industry, with DSRD staff working hard to introduce potential clients to the exhibitors. The DSRD stand was also attracting a large amount of press interest from TV, newspaper and radio.
We look forward to reporting on further successes and outcomes stemming from this exhibition.
Looking ahead, Small Business September is currently underway, featuring a comprehensive collection of events designed to provide advice and information specifically for small businesses. There are over 300 events across NSW including in every region of the State.
