NEW MEMBERS
HEARD Systems Pty Ltd

The "non-invasive livestock pregnancy testing device" technology, developed by Sydney-based HEARD Systems Pty Ltd, has been accepted for ATS membership.

HEARD Systems has developed a unique method for accurately diagnosing pregnancy in cows and large farm animals which detects and processes foetal heartbeat signals.

By placing a handheld HEARD device against the side of the cow, farmers and novice operators can test (and retest) individual cows or small groups of animals. The HEARD products ensure pregnancy test results are linked to the cow via radio frequency identification (RFID) eartags, to provide an accurate record of pregnancy status. The information then integrates into farm software, and HEARD’s web based system.

The method is non-invasive to the animal and farmers can now diagnose pregnancy in cows on demand, rather than having to schedule a costly visit from an expert or forgo testing of single cows.

Amethon Solutions (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd

The "Mobile Analytics" technology, developed by North Sydney-based Amethon Solutions (Asia Pacific) Pty Ltd, has been accepted for ATS membership.

Amethon Solutions has developed an analytics and insight solutions tool for the mobile industry. Their Mobile Analytics software reports both on- and off-deck mobile web browsing without ‘tagging’ pages or relying on mobile/WAP gateways. Mobile Operators and content publishers use their technology to analyse real-time intelligence of mobile internet browsing behaviour, site interaction and the mobile internet.

Rather than relying on logfile analysis, embedded artifacts or client-side java scripts, Mobile Analytics captures the underlying TCP/IP traffic allowing analysis of HTTP, WAP and other relevant protocols. Statistics are then generated and presented via a comprehensive web-based reporting tool.

By analysing portal usage, they identify the most popular off-deck destinations, generate mobile advertising revenue, and analyse new handset launches.
