It has been another successful month for ATS Members & Alumni, with great results from the Western Sydney Industry Awards announced recently.
Successful ATS members were: - Pavement Management Services (road quality management software): Winner of Most Outstanding SME - Lindsay Piemaking Equipment (flexible piemaking equipment for small bakeries): Highly Commended Innovative Product or Service. - ASP Healthcare (disposable medical sharps equipment): Winner Large Business Outstanding Product.

Argus Solutions |

ATS Alumni member Argus Solutions develops security products using iris recognition and facial recognition technology.
The Australian Department of Defence has commissioned Argus to expand and upgrade its “Cornerstone” identity management software, and place it at new sites. Defence already has Cornerstone applications installed at a number of its facilities to secure highly sensitive working environments. Defence continues to be an important customer for Argus, and the high integrity products and systems it has developed can also be applied to businesses outside of government.

Circuitlink International |

ATS member Circuitlink International has secured orders for Incident Data (black box) Recorder from transit authorities of Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Montebello, Orange County, San Diego, Houston, Miami and the state of Florida. The company is confident of securing further orders from these authorities over the next few years.

ATS Alumni member and software and interactive development company Internetrix has announced that it has been selected by Google to join the new Website Optimizer Technology Partner program. Internetrix is one of only six companies globally to be selected, and the only company outside North America.

 |
ATS member Mobbiexpress International has announced that, following an ATS Export Support Grant funded visit to Malaysia, it has signed an agreement with a large Malaysian multi-level marketing company for the implementation of 14,000 units of Mobbiexpress Mobile eCommerce Aggregator services.

Bio Recognition Systems |

ATS Alumni company Bio Recognition Systems (BRS), a leader in the design and manufacture of biometric readers and associated software solutions, was awarded “Most Innovative Security Product” in the Sensor category at the 5th Annual The Security Summit on June 5 in San Diego, California. Over 30 companies representing five nations participated in the competition judged by an international panel of security experts.

ATS Alumni company and internet payment services provider Paymate has launched a Chinese/English language mall, “Haiwaibao.com”, that will enable Australian merchants to showcase products for sale to the booming Chinese market.

MyStaff |
 |
 |
ATS Alumni company MYStaff markets an internet delivered fully integrated Human Resource Management System delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) model in single and multi-tenant modes for single client and mass market implementations in the SME sector. It entered the Chinese market in late 2006 and more recently the Japanese market looking for opportunities in the e-portal and system integrator space.
On a recent ATS Export Support Grant supported visit to meet partners in Japan and China, Fujitsu Japan has offered to make MYStaff a SaaS Application Partner, one of only 20 worldwide. This has opened opportunities to work with other Fujitsu partners in China, Japan and other parts of Asia.

Calair Pipe Systems |

 |
ATS Alumni member Calair Pipe Systems has received an order from Canadian company Atlantic Compressed Air for its tough, light and recyclable pneumatic reticulation system. The Canadian company has ordered around 1.5km of the product for a fish processing plant producing omega 3 oils in a region where temperature s frequently fall to more than -25° Celsius.

The technology is a software as a service productivity tool for the call centre industry. By enabling deployment over a hosted environment, PipeVines is able to provide a lower cost service than competitors.
