ProjectCentre.net

ATS Alumni member CADX Pty Ltd, trading as ProjectCentre.net, is playing a critical role in the management and delivery of the Federal Government’s $14.7 billion Education Revolution infrastructure stimulus program.

ProjectCentre is working with the NSW and Victorian governments to deliver a central management system utilising ProjectCentre’s online collaborative communication system, providing live reporting on all key decisions and transactions involving more than 3,000 projects in schools.

The technology controls the review and approval gateways for each project’s design and cost, and links this information directly with each government’s integrated budget and payments systems. By providing a central platform for all communications, the technology enables governments to maintain accountability, transparency and disclosure among all project stakeholders.

One of the main goals for governments is to provide economic stimulus to the economy, generating a value to the community and to generate jobs across a wide area of the community. ProjectCentre’s key role in this is to provide a system that provides government the ability to transparently report that the goals of stimulating the economy have been effectively achieved.

CADX created ProjectCentre.net in 1997, and the technology has been developed significantly since then. The company's ProjectCentre technology was admitted to the ATS program in August 2001, and now includes contracts management, financial management, and mobile access. ProjectCentre’s staff has grown by almost 50 per cent in 2009, with the company recruiting additional developers, client service executives and customer support staff.

The company is planning a significant expansion into the US market in the next 12 months, supported by an imminent capital raising. The company’s ongoing product development opportunities will also result in the recruitment of an additional 20 staff in NSW.

In addition to the Education Revolution, ProjectCentre clients include the Department of Defence, SA Water/Adelaide Aqua, Sydney Metro, the Sydney Ports Corporation, the Australian Rail Track Corporation, the Westfield Sydney City redevelopment, Crown Casino and the Perth Arena.
