New Members
Biometix Pty Ltd

The "Performix Biometric System Manager" technology, developed by Australian Technology Park-based Biometix Pty Ltd is an independent enterprise level software system for biometric databases. It provides information that enables users to investigate underlying biometric information and identify the performance parameters used in the management of a large biometric-based security system. The technology is being targeted at large government private sector users.

The company's website is www.biometix.com.

Urban Ecological Systems Ltd

The "Ecocity farm sustainable aquaponic system" technology, developed by Nimbin-based Urban Ecological Systems is an IT supported farm-gate operation, suitable for use where conventional agriculture is not viable, such as urban areas, and remote or environmentally sensitive locations.

It is a stand alone, minimal discharge aquaponic system in which fish and plants are combined using a bio-converter, in which all inputs into the system are utilised in the production of fish or plants. The components are vertically stacked so the system has a production capacity up to 5 times that of existing systems of the same footprint. This makes it feasible to locate the unit in urban areas where land is expensive, allowing the grower to market directly to consumers.

The technology has application in, for example, supermarkets and tourist resorts where production can be carried out on-site. The company has signed a joint venture agreement with a US interest, and is currently raising capital to fund expansion.

The company's website is www.ecocityfarm.com.au .

Front Foot Media Solutions Pty Ltd

The "Front Foot Mobile Delivery System" technology, developed by Surry Hills-based Front Foot Media Solutions Pty Ltd is a commercially scalable, over-arching framework, delivering carrier grade content and services to mobile devices. It is available commercially and allows businesses to deliver advertising, mobile payments services, and gaming services to clients.

The company's website is www.frontfoot.com.au.

H I Fraser Pty Ltd

The "High Pressure Gas and Fluid Double Swivel" technology, developed by Warriewood-based H I Fraser Pty Ltd has been accepted for membership. The technology is a double swivel coupling that, unlike any other gas valve, allows more efficient filling and dispensing of high pressure gases to occur in 2 planes, from the side or the top. The design ensures that the mechanism cannot become undone, cannot react with any gas, and pneumatically locks under pressure. The technology is being used in the local and overseas gas markets.

The company's website is www.hifraser.com .
